  • 1 (200g) tub cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 spring onion, chopped
  • 175g (6 oz) crab meat, drained
  • 125g (4 oz) small prawns, drained

  1. Blend together the cream cheese and mayonnaise. Add the spring onion, crab and prawns. Place in a covered container and chill overnight.

I changed this just a bit, so I can't give it 5 stars. I added 8 ozs. of sour cream to stretch it a bit and make it more creamy. I also add about 2 Tbs. of zesty cocktail sauce and a tablespoon of lemon juice to add the zip other posters said was lacking. I brought it to work for a low-carb potluck and served with whole wheat crackers. Everyone really liked it.-16 Aug 2005

Sorry to say I was not impressed with this recipe. I made it for a dinner party and my friends didn't much care for it either.-26 Mar 2002
