These chocolate chip cookies are really quick and easy to make because there is no creaming the butter and sugar. They still taste great! Add chopped walnuts, if desired, in place of 50g of the chocolate chips.

- 1 egg
- 220g dark brown soft sugar
- 125g butter, melted
- 190g self-raising flour
- pinch salt
- 175g chocolate chips

- Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
- Beat egg and sugar together until it goes frothy. Add melted butter and mix. Add flour, salt and chocolate chips. Mix together.
- Drop spoonfuls onto a baking tray (use a sheet of baking parchment on tray). Bake in oven for 10 minutes. Let cool on trays.
